We are releasing mooSocial core new version 3.1.2 and mobile app (mooApp ) new version 1.3. The 3.1.2 version includes all updates from version 3.1.1 and addresses found bugs in version 3.1. mooApp 1.3 includes a lot of improvements and addresses a lot of bugs from previous versions.

Below are some importance notes for the new versions:

• New version is available to download at client area
• All of paid plugins are compatible with 3.1.2 version.
• All paid templates are not 100% compatible yet with 3.1.2 (The reply to comment feature may not work on paid template). We’re checking the compatible issues and will keep you posted if we need to upgrade template or not. If you’re using paid or customized template, please make sure you test it with 3.1.2 version before upgrading for production site.
• Mobile apps 1.3: This version is ONLY compatible with core 3.1.2 and compatible with all plugins that support mobile App (see list here https://moosocial.com/product-category/app-supported/). If you want to use app 1.3, you need to upgrade your site to 3.1.2 and upgrade all paid plugins to latest version.
• DO NOT upgrade your live site until you have a full backup of your site’s files, database and have successfully performed a test upgrade on your development (test) site first.

We’re so excited to announce mooSocial 3.1.0 is now released and available to download at client area. This release adds a lot of major improvements and addresses many found issues. Please check here for full detailed of improvements and bug fixes included in this version.

Below are importance notes for the new versions:

+ All of paid plugins are compatible with 3.1.0 version. For GIF comment plugin and Business plugin, please download latest version to upgrade them after upgrading to 3.1 version.
+ Mobile apps: this version requires app 1.2+ version. If you upgraded web to 3.1.0 version the apps will work well but some new improvements like reply to comment, pin post, close comment …will be not available on apps. We’re updating our apps now and will keep you posted.
+ If you’re using custom theme or paid theme or site has been customized. You should test it with new version at development site first before upgrading. The reply to comment feature option does not work well with paid theme. We will upgrade all themes and will keep you guy posted.
+ DO NOT upgrade your live site until you have a full backup of your site’s files, database and have successfully performed a test upgrade on your development (test) site first.

We have just released a critical security and maintenance update to resolve a security issue and facebook social login button. This release is a patch that protects against a vulnerability allowing bad actors to delete files in folder from your site.

Please download the patch file named “mooSocial-3.0.2.Patch1.zip”, “mooSocial-3.0.2.Patch2.zip” and “mooSocial-3.0.2.Patch3.zip” at client area, follow the installation guide inside the patch1 and Update As Soon As Possible. It’s compatible with mooSocial all versions. Please update follow order from path 1 to patch3

Over the past two months, our team has been hard at work upgrading most of our plugins to make them compatible with mobile apps latest version. With a lot of improvements made on apps, script and plugins. The moosoical script, plugins and mobile apps are now much more faster than before. I’m excited to announce mooSocial 3.02 and apps (Android and IOS) version 1.21 are now released and available to download at client area. Most of our paid plugin are also compatible with latest version. Please check the home page of mooCommmunity to get updates about the release of the plugins. Below are importance notes for the new versions:

Changes in mooSocial 3.02

+ Fixed “recently joined” block cache issue. User is deleted but it’s not auto delete at “Recently joined”
+ Fixed “global seach issue”, full name of member matches with entered keyword but can’t be found.
+ ‘Page Not Found’ page does not appear correctly when site is at production mode
+ Integrated patch deleting-user-account-by-the-user-himself. See more details here https://moosocial.com/gdpr-compatible-patch-release/ . If you used 3.02, do not need to install this patch because it’s integrated by default.
+ Remove video link from text editor
+ Allow user to delete account/downoad a copy of data if membership is expired. In the previous version, member can’t do anything if the subscribed membership package is expired.
+ Daily and bulk email optimization – send to active members only.
+ Modified unsubscribe link inside email. Now member can click on “unsubscribed” link at email footer to unsubscribe without logging into site. If member is not member, he also can unbsubscribe.
+ Improve the warning message that appear when site has error or member does not have permission to access a feature. See screenshots below for more details

+ Fixed found bugs when upgrading plugins to make them compatible with app 1.2

Importance Notes:

+ Most of addons are compatible except for: Classifieds Plugin, Feedback, Property Listings, Resume Plugin, MOOCHAT, Recipe. We’re still fixing bugs for these plugins.

+ The following plugins are compatible with with 1.1 but are not compatible with 1.21, we will make them compatible soon. PROFILE SPOTLIGHT, Gif Comment, Twitter & LinkedIn Social Login and Reactions

+ App version 1.21 REQUIREDS mooSocial 3.0.2 and plugins that compatible with app 1.2. So that if you upgraded to mooSocial 3.02, you have to upgrade apps and plugins. Do not install plugin that is only compatible with 3.02 into mooSocial lower version.
+ All themes are compatible with 3.02 by default.
+ DO NOT upgrade your live site until you have a full backup of your site’s files, database and have successfully performed a test upgrade on your development (test) site first.
