I know many of you not only wanted to just build niche communities for fun or as a hobby. Most if not all invested time and money in mooSocial framework hoping to build great communities, prosperous social networks which some day they might become successful businesses. However, your trust in mooSocial was hindered due to lack of improvement, support and a clear sense of direction moving forward.

Here is what coming up next for mooSocial. Not only it is beatifully designed, this new layout will be Web Responsive. mooSocial will be a natively supported Responsive Social Network Script. Check out our updates for both mobile and desktop versions below. Please be mindful as these are still in development stage and could change without notice. There will be more to come … Will keep everyone up to date.

mooSocial 2.0.3 is now available to download. It’s strongly recommended that you upgrade your site to this version.

Changes log:

• Upgraded CakePHP to 2.4.7 to better support PHP 5.4
• Fixed a bug that enabled malicious users to gain control to the admin panel (thanks MK)
• Fixed a bug that prevented users to switch back to mobile site from full site on mobile devices
