mooSocial 2.2.1patch1 is now available. This patch contains updates addressing several issues found in mooSocial version 2.2.1. Customers are asked to download and apply changes to their social network sites if they are using mooSocial version 2.2.1.
Issues Fixed in 2.2.1patch1:
- PayPal Adaptive Payments can not process recurring subscription plan due to missing endingDate and maxTotalAmountOfAllPayments fields.
- When deleting a Groups, unrelated topics and videos were also removed.
- “View Map” links in Event Listing page do not work.
What you should do to successfully install this patch:
- Download moosocial-2.2.1patch.zip
- Unzip the downloaded file onto your hard drive
- Take your site offline using “Take Site Offline” and “Offline Message” in System Settings
- Upload all files and folders within 2.2.1 directory to the same location where the previous version was installed so that the new files overwrite existing ones.
- Go to System Admin > Manage Gateway, click “Edit” for PayPal Adaptive Payments then click “Save” to save changes.
- Clear Global Caches in Admin Home
- DO make a fully restorable backup of your site before proceeding.
- DO click Save in PayPal Adaptive Payment settings so that content of endingDate and maxTotalAmountOfAllPayments could be recored in database.
